Dr. Robinson has been in the field of mental health for twenty years. He has worked extensively with people who are grappling with medical diagnoses, PTSD, trauma, depression, anxiety, and major life changes.

Dr. Robinson earned his undergraduate degree, with Honors, from Brown University. He also earned a Master's Degree in Professional Writing from the University of Southern California, and then a second Master's Degree and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Rhode Island.

He trained at a Harvard Medical School/VA program in Boston, and completed his Postdoctoral year in a private Pediatric Neuropsychology clinic. Dr. Robinson had a successful psychology practice in Providence, RI and was for one year a Clinical Instructor at the Warren Alpert School of Medicine at Brown University, 

 

Dr. Robinson and his family moved from Rhode Island to Germany where he worked as a civilian doctor for the U.S. Military for nearly seven years. His final post at the Landstuhl Regional Medical Center (LRMC) was as Interim Director for Psychological Assessment & Neuropsychology. Prior to that position, he worked for five years in the Outpatient Behavioral Health Department of LRMC treating active-duty military, veterans, and their families.

Dr. Robinson moved back to the United States from Germany in the summer of 2016 and founded Bayside Psychology. He lives with his wife and two children in Southern Maine.
